Great Thanksgiving Church Creative Examples from 2013

With so much going on this time of year, it’s fun to take a break and appreciate some of the amazing creative work being done at churches to communicate all their important holiday events.

Here’s a look at some of our favorite ways we’ve seen churches use creative designs and media on their website to communicate Thanksgiving events.

Video:

The Church of St. John the Divine

Currently when you go to SJD's website for the first time this holiday season a video pops up in front of all other content and immediately starts playing. The video is a heartwarming slideshow of photos that visually depict what SJD is thankful for as a church. We love how prominently they display their thankfulness. Watch video here

Campaigns:

Mariners Church

Mariners Church has launched a campaign to encourage and challenge their community to “Celebrate Different” this holiday season. They are using their website to spread awareness, coordinate events, and display opportunities for congregants to give, serve, and love.

Festive Rotating Banners:

Rotating banners are a great way to communicate upcoming events and messages from your website’s homepage. Here are a few of our favorite Thanksgiving themed rotating banners from this year.

The Village Church

University Christian Church

Jacksonville Chapel

Providence Baptist Church
