Professional Services Manager
AJ graduated with a BS in Management Science from UCSD and received his MBA from Ashford University. He is passionate about helping ministries connect with people through the use of technology. Prior to coming to MonkDev he served as a Church Communication Director for a large church in San Diego. He also enjoys taking photographs and traveling with his wife Jennifer.
Customer Service Manager
Amanda grew up in San Diego and moved to Azusa Pacific University in order to receive a BS in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science. When she moved back to San Diego in 2014, Amanda worked at a local church camp facilitating a high ropes course and running summer camps. When not working, Amanda can be found hiking around Mission Trails, reading all sorts of books, and volunteering with her church youth group and tech team.
Ashley was born in St. Louis Missouri, matured in Austin Texas, and now lives in Chicago, IL. With a B.A. in church communications, Ashley works with designers, developers, admins, and pastors to create communicate strategies. When Chicago weather becomes unbearable, Ashley enjoys new cities and finding the quintessential cup of black coffee.
Austin graduated from Biola University with a B.S. in Business Management. Prior to joining the team at Monk Development, Austin worked with a variety of companies to help them engage the local church with their message. His passion has always been to provide the church with resources to help them clearly communicate the gospel. In his free time, Austin enjoys going to the beach, serving at his local church and traveling with his wife, Corrina
Carl graduated from Bethel Seminary with a Masters in Theological Studies and he has a Bachelors from Carson Newman College in Economics. He is passionate about partnering with pastors and church leaders and helping them to expand their reach and more effectively communicate their message. He now lives in Nashville Tn with his wife Jamie and two daughters (Spencer Rose and Evelyn). When he is not reading Curious George or watching Moana you can find him studying his Bible or getting tapped out on the Jiu Jitsu mats.
Sr. Full Stack Web Developer
Cary has been involved with church and ministry web design and development for over a decade. His experience includes that of an IT/Web manager for a large church, a church planting pastor, and being the owner of a small web design/development company specializing in church websites. Cary is passionate about helping churches use the internet to engage their congregations, their cities and their culture. Cary and his wife Staci have five kids, two horses, two geese, a duck, a chicken, and an occasional rehabilitating cottontail… When not behind a computer or hanging out with his family you might find Cary acting, singing, and dancing in a local community theater production.
Chris grew up in Orange County, CA and studied photography, graphic design and programming. After wrapping up an internship in web development alongside a Calvary Chapel School of Ministry program, he came to San Diego to help ministries bridge the gaps between art and technology to help share life-changing ideas. If he's not coding something, he's probably fiddling with drum machines and synthesizers.
Gerald, a California native has spent more than 15 years designing products for churches and nonprofits. His passion for making the complex simple drove him to become a UX Designer. When not behind a screen learning new techniques in code & user-centered design, you can find him spending time with his wife and two amazing daughters.
Janis is an artist, graphic designer and photographer. With more than seven years of experience in the graphic design industry, Janis certainly knows her stuff. Beginning her career in the advertising field, she teamed up with SKO Design Lab and Catalyst, with whom she developed her eye for immaculate graphic design. She now works as a graphic designer for faithHighway where she puts her flair for design—and her enthusiasm for what she does—to work for our clients.
Jenn has been professionally designing since 2010. She specializes in responsive web design for churches. She received her BA in Graphic Design from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2010. When Jenn is not creating at work, she is likely enjoying San Diego trails on a run, hike or ride with her husband, Jesse.

Front End Developer
Kevin was raised in Murrieta, CA and came down to San Diego to pursue a degree and career in web design and development. After earning an AS in web design Kevin worked to create websites and IT solutions for small business all over Southern California. He is passionate about learning new things and finds great joy in working with peoples and technology to create a stronger and more loving community. Outside of work Kevin spends his time playing games online, listening to podcasts, petting/looking at pictures of cute doggos, or hanging out at the beach.
Krysti was born and raised in Los Angeles, which means she's a Dodger fan by birth and uses "the" in front of freeway names. She found herself in San Diego for college and, besides a few stints in Malawi, has found it difficult to leave. During her time at various non-profits, she's developed a passion for using her talents to make organizations, systems, and teams more effective - and hopefully the world a little better. She can usually be found reading and writing in a coffee shop on the weekends.
Lance lives in Caldwell, Idaho with his wife and 2 daughters (11 and 9). The family loves to take road trips and visit family, as well as stop at national parks and amusement parks. Lance has been involved with web design and development in some way since 1998, and professionally since 2006. He graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2011 with a BS in IT with a Web Development emphasis. In his free time, Lance likes board sports, such as skateboarding, snowboarding, and wakeboarding. He also enjoy swimming, hiking, and ping pong.
Laura Beth is a Northern California native who needed a break from the mountains and ventured to the shores of San Diego in 2006 to complete her BA in Liberal Studies from SDSU. She may not be a true southern belle but like her name she does harness a few southern qualities such as country dancing, country concerts and spending plenty of time outdoors! On those few rainy days when the weather is not ideal she can usually be found in the kitchen baking some kind of new sweet treat.

Martha graduated from George Mason University in 2005 and 2007 with Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in the Music and Arts field. Before beginning to work with churches and ministries, Martha served as a development associate at the U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP) in Washington, DC helping to raise funds for a building presence for USIP on the National Mall. Once that building broke ground, Martha turned her focus back to her true passion which is helping churches and ministries make their vision a reality through online ministry, that journey led her across the country eight years later to San Diego, where she much prefers the never-ending sunshine to the erratic temps of the Mid Atlantic. When Martha is not at work she can be found getting to know the West Coast better, making music, and on the quest for the perfect cup of coffee.

Nat is a 3rd generation San Diego native. He has received an MA in Ministry Practice with an emphasis in Missional Leadership from Bethel Seminary and his BA in Communications with an emphasis in Entertainment Studies from Cal State Fullerton. Nat has a passion for helping people and organizations manage logistics, navigate new territory, and streamline their processes, all in order to better fulfill their mission. Outside of work, Nat loves spending time with his wife, Lizzie, surfing, listening to podcasts, and playing board games.

Priscilla M. Mensah Garcia-Lanzoni is from Houston, TX and calls the Pacific Northwest home. In 2012, she graduated from The University of Texas at Austin (Hook 'em Horns!) with a BA in Anthropology. Inspired to reignite her interest in technology, she attended The Tech Academy Portland's software development bootcamp. Since then, she has built websites for audiology practices, ENT physicians, creative entrepreneurs, and small business owners. She is passionate about learning, strengthening her faith, travel, and participating in local tech organizations and MeetUps.
Content Marketing Manager
Samantha graduated from Texas A&M University (Gig 'Em!) with a degree in Communication with a focus on Religious Studies. She has previously worked as a Church Communications Director, and brings both experience and a passion to equip the local church by providing resources to help them live out their mission for the sake of the Gospel. Samantha enjoys living in Oklahoma City with her husband, Dustin, and their son, Eli. In her free time, she can be found spending time with her family, trying out new, local restaurants, and traveling any chance she gets!
Scott graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in Information Systems. After working several years for BNSF Railway in various IT departments he started a successful web development business that led to a passion for building church websites. Scott lives in Prosper, Texas and with his wife, Lisa, and three children, Kailey, Abigail and Asher.
Skyler is a San Diego native, who spent time in Los Angeles for College. Skyler has been creating websites since 2005 and has also been involved with a range of ministries revolving around Youth and Children; Both within the church as well as outside youth organizations. On the weekends Skyler can be found enjoying all that San Diego has to offer.
Thought Leader / Bookend
The Monk began his career as a tree. Later in life, he was chopped down and whittled into his current shape to represent St. Francis. At the Monk office his job is to remind us of our service to so many churches and great causes. He likes keeping doors open, preventing papers from flying out of place, and generally making rooms brighter.
