Jonathan Deatherage

Jonathan Deatherage

Senior Account Executive

Jonathan Deatherage has worked with churches and non-profits for over ten years to find communications solutions that connect people with ministry opportunities. He worked on the client side with Monk Development on their platform Ekklesia 360 for several years as a church Communications Director, then joined Ministry Brands as the Communications Strategist for Monk Development in January 2020. He loves to help ministries bridge the gap from digital engagement to spiritual engagement. Jonathan studied Media & Communications at Dallas Theological Seminary, and finds himself often in the awkward space of being both a techy and a Bible nerd. Jonathan lives with his wife, Erin, and their four kids in the Dallas area, and they’re always on the look-out for a great hiking trail, even ones hidden in the suburbs.

Martha Haines

Martha Haines

Customer Support Manager

Martha graduated from George Mason University in 2005 and 2007 with Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in the Music and Arts field. Before beginning to work with churches and ministries, Martha served as a development associate at the U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP) in Washington, DC helping to raise funds for a building presence for USIP on the National Mall. Once that building broke ground, Martha turned her focus back to her true passion which is helping churches and ministries make their vision a reality through online ministry, that journey led her across the country eight years later to San Diego, where she much prefers the never-ending sunshine to the erratic temps of the Mid Atlantic. When Martha is not at work she can be found getting to know the West Coast better, making music, and on the quest for the perfect cup of coffee.

Stephanie Burcombe

Stephanie Burcombe

Front End Developer

Stephanie is a former school teacher turned passionate web developer. She has found programming to be a powerful way for her to be able to make a difference in the world and continue to be a life-long learner. Teaching students in the classroom was incredible, but the potential to affect lives with well-made, insightful software has drawn her into the world of computer programming. Stephanie currently lives in Costa Mesa, CA with her husband. They love hiking, doing crosswords together and experiencing new places and meeting new people through travel. Music is an additional passion of hers. Whether it be learning a song on guitar, singing in the car, or creating a parody, Stephanie loves music. She has an endless jukebox in her mind and even if something isn't a song...if you stick around her long enough, it will be!

The Monk

The Monk

Thought Leader / Bookend

The Monk began his career as a tree. Later in life, he was chopped down and whittled into his current shape to represent St. Francis. At the Monk office his job is to remind us of our service to so many churches and great causes. He likes keeping doors open, preventing papers from flying out of place, and generally making rooms brighter.
