We are moving into the last week before Easter. All over the world churches have been updating their websites with content specifically for Easter. That includes graphics, landing pages, videos, and invitations.
Below are just a few of the churches that stood out to the team here at Monk Development.
We’re seeing more churches take a landing page approach to announce their Easter services. Grace Covenant is a great example of this. We love how they interweave social media into this page, especially the shareable Easter Instagram invites.
Mariners church does a great job of story-telling on their Easter page. The stories and graphics tie-in their overall theme DEATHTOLIFE. They also have links to their various campuses with information and invite videos that have campuses specific information. Something to consider if you’re a multi-site church.
The lead-up to Easter is marked by some important milestones: Palm Sunday, Maunday Thursday, and Good Friday. Instead of focusing on Easter alone, CPC used their Easter page to highlight these milestones. Overall, they have some really great visuals to tie the entire lenten season together.
Sun Hills is another church that went with a landing page to highlight their Easter services. It includes a video invite and clearly lists their worship times on Easter weekend. We like how they’ve include information about their upcoming sermon series. It’s a great way to show and encourage people to come back after Easter.
The Chicago Tabernacle has a very minimalistic design for their Easter service. They obviously want the focus to be their Easter promo video. It gives visitors a glimpse of “The Story of Love.”
